andrea fisher celebrates the beauty of classicism

Contemporary pieces with elegant lines flow beautifully within a context of classicism.

Antique Maison Jansen chairs share an intimate corner with a modern glass top table. Inspired by our 19th-century French books on the 18th-century French interior, we created the classic wall moldings in a pure and elegant Louis XVI style.

Creating spaces of beauty and harmony,
where the soul  can find respite and transformation.

Soft to the touch…animal print velvet from Scalamandré envelops our French antique Maison Jansen bench, and the luxurious champagne velvet from Pierre Frey on the loveseats complements the gorgeous Fortuny silks of our custom designed pillows. Beautiful French antiques share space with elegant modern furniture, creating a sense of harmony and timelessness.

ART and BOOKS ARE THE SOUL OF A ROOM…

Here in our design of an elegant and comfortable family room, 18th c. French etchings and paintings, and 19th c. French sculptures share space with contemporary art.  The stunning contemporary photography, presented in French period frames (pictured above), is by Brooklyn artists Scott Irvine & Kim Meinelt of Waxenvine. Their work, which is featured throughout the room, on our custom bookshelves and walls, takes one’s breath away! Visit their website at Waxenvine.com

Beyond the French doors, a terrace garden brimming with soft, velvety, fragrant roses calls one to Tea…
